LESSON/TECHNIQUE OF THIS MONTH
Good binocular vision is the ultimate goal of most students of vision improvement. It is the gate to 3D vision, to precise judgement of distance and speed. In this month’s lesson we will be practicing several selected techniques that have been taught in prior lessons. We will spend ample time on each of them in order to give your binocular vision a solid boost.
Anyone can join the practice, even those students who are currently working on activating an amblyopic eye or making corrections for strabismus. You may not do great, but you will continue the improvement of your skills and you will be reminded of what comes ahead.
To keep the lesson interesting, I have chosen a variety of techniques that help with binocular vision from different angles. I hope you enjoy the practice.
May your eyesight be boundless!

MINDFULNESS FOR BETTER SEEING
Palming Meditation for the Acceptance of the Source of Clear Seeing Power Within You
Five Point Eyes Acupressure Massage and Palming with Anna Bambridge of Embodied Vision
Palming meditation for grounding yourself in your surroundings, and for bringing calmness to the eyes, the mind and the whole body.
Short relaxation focusing on the clarity of the lens.
An active process enabling relaxation of the body from head to toes. It promotes the proper circulation of energy and blood - and therefore nutrients - into the eyes.
Palming meditation for allowing the eyes to just sit back and rest, followed by a short quiet moment of awareness of the position of the eyes and their movement in converging and diverging.
Our brain is responsible for about 90% of seeing. It interprets all the visual signals that our eyes send it. It is flexible, pliable and capable of miraculous adjustments. It reacts to our thoughts, emotions and the images it is exposed to. It does not differentiate between what is conscious or unconscious, what is real or imagined. It reacts to them equally. Please allow yourself the time to connect with your brain and to show it the seeing you desire.
